This course deals with the design to train students to teach literacy and numeracy skills to schoolchildren, out -of -school youth and other segments of society in need of their services as these apply to teaching and learning in the elementary grades
Course Outcomes:
At the end of the course, students must be able to:
1. Understand goals, objectives and importance of the National Service Training Program (NSTP).
2. Explain the basic premises of the Constitution and its importance to the citizenry.
3. Identify the desirable traits of a Filipino that contribute to his development as well as the national development.
4. Explain the importance of functional literacy and numeracy.
