This course is designed to develop the basic research and technical writing skills of students in the environmental science program. This will introduce students to the basic statistical methods necessary to conduct and understand statistical analysis of environmental issues, biological experiments, and problems. There is a strong emphasis on the application of these methods and other techniques to socio-environmental datasets that describe current environmental problems and issues and interpretation of the results.
