This is an introductory course in programming which serves as
a preparation for intermediate programming. It aims to develop skills and
concepts that are essential to good programming practice and problem-solving using
Java programming language. It covers fundamental programming concepts of
primitive data types, simple I/O, conditional statements, iterative
structures and methods. It also includes the use of testing and debugging
techniques.
